Angela grew up in Mt Lebanon, the oldest of three. Her family all still live in Mt Lebanon and she enjoys spending time with her niece and nephews. Angela is an avid reader. Her bedroom has four packed bookcases and piles of books all around. She loves to read books that inspire her to do more for others. There are so many amazing people in the world doing work that changes peoples’ lives…its really challenging to her.
Angela graduated from Mt Lebanon High School and went on to Seton Hill College – now Seton Hill University. At Seton Hill Angela studied education. She taught in our Catholic schools, at Point Park University and the Pittsburgh Public Schools for a number of years before beginning a career 10 years ago in Lay Ecclesial Ministry. While working on a Master’s at Duquesne University, Angela served as a Director of Religious Education at a parish in the North Hills and then here at St Bernard. It’s humbling to have the opportunity to serve the poor and the youth of our parish as Director of Social Service Outreach and Youth Ministry.
