Darcy Osby has been involved in a variety of parish catechetical programs and Catholic schools for over 12 years and loves working in ministry professionally at St. Bernard Parish. She began as a catechist in high school and recognized her calling to Lay Ecclesial Ministry at an early age. Darcy grew up in O’Hara and graduated from Fox Chapel High School. She holds bachelor’s degrees in elementary education and theology from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, as well as a Master of Divinity from the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. She and her husband, Galen, live in Shaler and enjoy attending concerts and exploring God’s creation through hiking, canoeing, and kayaking. Together they are involved in their local parish, St. Mary of the Assumption, and they help coordinate the Theology on Tap program for the North Hills area.
